Ginny and the Pugs

Here’s one of the commissions I got during the 7th Annual Doggy Art Festival. She wanted this piece for her daughter’s birthday this Saturday. I hope she doesn’t read this. :-/ Anyway, there were a lot of Pugs at the art show, two Pug rescues and a lot of Pug enthusiasts, like Ginny. I’ll be starting on the portrait of her Pugs very soon. I really enjoy drawing Pugs, maybe because their eyes are so expressive and sometime their little teeth poke out from under their lips. I’ve done several Pugs just for fun. Here are Ginny’s daughter’s Pugs and a few examples of ones that I have done. Enjoy and thanks Ginny for the work!
