Happy New Year…kinda late.

Ok, so it’s a new year and I have TMJ and a case of Lumbago, it’s stress, simple as that. I’m working on finishing the children’s book “Wilbur the Christmas Mouse” and doing the photography thing. A couple of new discoveries are Aaron and Alex and Robbie. Aaron and Alex I literally found walking down the street after they left the gym. I was stopping at a traffic light and they caught my eye, I rolled my truck window down and yelled at them, seriously! I gave them my card and told them I’d love to photograph them so check out my web site. Never heard from them BUT as it was the new year and I’d made my resolutions to get in shape and be fit for 2011, I join a gym. A gym where Alex the younger of the 2 brothers work and Aaron works out. I was able to convince them to stand in front of my camera! Next “discovery” is Robbie. I found him at Old Navy where he works part time. He just seemed so fresh and innocent and only 18 when I gave him my card. He seemed interested and we did just a test shoot. Philipp, as you know I have worked with before, he’s great, tall and chiseled and just fun to be around! He called me about a “Marlboro Man” shoot. I thought that could be fun and then I got on the phone to see if I could find horse stables in the area. I did, Dirty Jeans 4-H Ranch and Midnight Farms. Corolla and the girls at the ranch were so helpful and gracious to us and let us basically have run of the place. Philipps’ girl friend, Angela, join in on the fun as well as Bailey his 6 month old chocolate Lab. We were able to choose from some of the sweetest horses, like Red, Jose and Jewels, just to name a few. I want to go riding and do lots of shoots there!
