Shooting over the weekend

…with Brad and Celeste. Brad’s off to L.A. for and acting/modeling career and I take a lot of photos like this for models looking to develop a portfolio. What’s great great about working with Brad is open to what ever I throw at him and I like his sense of adventure! When I met Brad I had wanted to do this shoot with him as a “strong man” like from a side show or circus and he was game for it! He really became the part and we got some great shots! Celeste on the other hand, is a professional woman who is looking for photos for business and social networking sites. I don’t do as many shoots like these but these are fun, at least it was with Celeste! I really think, not for my own person gain but that more people should have a professional shoot done to document this period in their life. I say this and I’ve only had one done in my entire life, not counting family photos and school pictures. I’ve been meaning to a do a self portrait shoot and I need to work on that!

But collaborating with another creative person and letting them see you and the beautiful person you really are is very cathartic! We all see ourselves different and WE are our worst critics. Shooting with Celeste was a joy and she is a beautiful, fun, loving woman, like my friend Charlyn, who introduced us, id NOT afraid to throw her head back and laugh! Love that!
